remalence is for seeing light in motion. It studies a video: what moved in each frame, the glow trail it leaves, which way it went, the blobs it follows. Then it turns that study into ASCII that glows where the footage moved, on the same video, on a math animation, or on your own pictures. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
The ideas come from Shading Motion by @MaximeHeckel, the real article about light and motion. Go read it: it does all of this live on the GPU, and explains it beautifully.
